So, I know I have mentioned this in a few other posts so far but here we go again with an update. Toby and Barney are now indoors in a large hutch - this is temporary while Mr S is building their new indoor home. I am LOVING having them indoors - they are such wonderful piggies and I love them soooo much (sorry - very tired and emotional after finishing a set of night shifts zzz ). Mr S has been worrying about all of their rumblestrutting but I pointed out that actually, we have no idea what they were up to in their hutch in the garden and this might be normal for them. They are noticeably tamer just since they moved on Tuesday.
We haven't watched a full programme on the TV yet as every time we hear a rustle we have to have a look at what's going on; and I don't know what we ever talked about before the boys came along.
Anyway - one of the things that concerned me was floor time - this afternoon I connected their collapsible indoor run up to the hutch, tempted them out with some baby corn and they are loving it! It sounds like there is a herd of baby elephants in the corner with all of the running around they are doing. I think it makes them feel really secure that they can go in and out of the hutch whenever they want. They have enjoyed a paper bag stuffed with hay with coriander in the bottom, and a new nest 'n' ball stuffed with readigrass.
Sorry photo is a bit grainy, it was taken with my phone and its a bit dark in here.
