I buy the Tesco food bag for my piggies which is fine but there is vegetable oil in them and you can't give them oil. Will I stop?

Asda do some now and same ingredients as Burgess excel except no molasses in asda one.Only 2 quid for 2 kilos.

I feed oxbow as its the best quality pellet I can get without ordering online

Glad I found a tesco food thread that I am able to post in! Lol. My bag of tesco food has these in it. The packet calls them "carob meal" but it looks like a cross between prawn crackers and polyester! I am not sure about feeding them, has anyone got this problem?
I am sure its nothing but a few opinionswould be helpful.

You cannot feed them. Did they come in a bag of salad?

Oh you mean actual guinea pig food. Well personally I would not feed a supermarket food as it will be full of bulking ingredients.

Sorry, I should have been a bit more specific about the dry food. They have little and often, alongside hay, grass, veg and a bit of fruit, and they have dry food to jazz things up a bit. But I will most def not feed them to my piggies.
