Tesco fresh greens

Hi everyone just been round Tesco and seen they do something called fresh greens and wasn’t sure if pigs could have them. They look just like the sweetheart cabbage but there’s nothing on the packet so say what they were.

Hi everyone just been round Tesco and seen they do something called fresh greens and wasn’t sure if pigs could have them. They look just like the sweetheart cabbage but there’s nothing on the packet so say what they were.

I'm not sure on this cabbage, but be very careful feeding any cabbage, this includes kale. Its gassy and can cause bloat and has caused it in some past pigs of mine. Its ok to feed a little bit sometimes.

We often refer to these as Spring Greens - they are fine to give in small quantities - I advise you aim to give a 1" strip per pig

Spring greens. I feed this to mine (and to my rabbit). It’s mentioned on the ‘long term balanced diet thread’ as an inch wide strip
