Tesco - Romaine lettuce 40p

Just to let you all know that tesco is selling 2 packs of romaine lettuce for 40p. Not sure when the offer ends.

Glad that i could be of help, i didnt get any as my fridge is already FULL of reduced veg my mum kindly got the boys from Morrison's! 25p they all were! I love bargains.

Lidl also have cucumbers for 35p.

My mum found some romaine lettuces in Tesco for 50p each on Monday.

She came home with 8 of them. |)

Haha my mum is like that, she always looks in the reduced section of the veg and picks me up some bargains.

Is romaine lettuce like little gem lettuce? Or different.

I don't have a tesco near me, but there's apparently lots of bargains in Lidl this week (in Ireland anyway) because it's been open ten years or something? Maybe just been in Ireland 10 years though, so dunno if it's on in the UK too.

Romaine is like big little gem lettuce. Maybe 2.5 - 3 times the size, same sort of leaf quality.
