I don't shop in Tesco any more, I just refuse to, they drive me mad and their insistance on selling everything from food to tvs to washing machines is ruining hundreds of other retailers.

The last time I tried to get veg from their in an emergency, I felt like complaining for misdescription of product, as the greens were clearly not greens but browns...yuk...

So glad our local, and I mean could walk there if we want, supermarket is Sainsburys, they are so nice in their and the veg is great, I have carrots that have been in my fridge for 2 weeks and still nice and crunchy!

I don't like butterflies! if they turned into dragonflies that would be different :))

I don't mind butterflies but i don't like dragonflies and there were load's in my garden last week

I like Aldi & Morrisons their veg is always lovely & fresh :)

Morrisons and sainsburys is where i get mine form, i tried market stuff but they prefer supermarket fussy piggies will have to get used to it because I'm going to start growing some veggies soon:))

I think I'm going to have a look in Sainsburys, a new one opened in town a week ago :)

you can't beat Aldi for price and quality:))

I used to shop at tesco, but after buying stuff that went out of date the next day at our local tesco and the high prices ,I now shop at Aldi.

I know Aldi doesn't have 'brands' but I cook mostly from scratch anyway so not a problem

Lidl have some good bargains although I never really seem to look at the veg (must make a point of it next time) their bin-liners, jam, cranberry juice and chocolate bars are top-notch! ;)

Am also going to stock up on saninsburys sweetcorn (about 50p) they're the size of a house and theres plenty of loose husks to pop in the bag too! :)p

A lot of you are right, tesco can be expensive (even though I get 10% off!) the pigs know what they like, and unfortunatley for me, it's sainsburys! :))

Lidl chocolate is the best! The cheaper the better - more milk and less cocoa!

Theres just too much chocolatey choice! some of the bars are broken in to handy little cubes "oh just one more bit.." and before you know it, a whole bar has been consumed!

Been there this morning to get piggy veg - great chickens £2.99 - 3 peppers 99p spinach 69p melon £1.25 - diet lemonade 18p a huge bottle plus lots of lovely choccies and cakes mmmmm:))

:))

Asda are selling theirs at 28p per fresh cob - Morrisons do 3 for £1.00

We don't have a Tesco here - yet (other than the small petrol shop) but from my own veg shopping I would use Morrisons 1st, Asda 2nd, Sainsburys 3rd (it's twice the price of the previous 2 and Waitrose if I won the lottery big style :))

I LOVE waitrose - shame I'm poor!

I don't use Aldi - not sure there is one near me but I find Morrisons stuff is abysmal. It doesn't keep thirty seconds.

I prefer Sainsbury's. Yes I know it's expensive - but I think their fresh stuff is nicest.

We shop at Tesco but ours seems to be fine! *touch wood*
I find Morrisons is good for piggie veg :D

I dont have my piggies yet but I find local independent fruit/veg sellers the best. There is a fruit stall in town that has been there for at least 20 years and on there for 60p you get a cauliflower or brocolli 2x the size of the tesco value 70p one! and you can mix and match every other veg, its sold by total weight, great idea for a house with only 1 person I do not need 50 carrots a week nor do I want to pay for one carrot a 1/4 of what a huge bag costs!
