My totally gorgeous new couple. They've been indoors (Einstein keeping Tess company when it got really cold) for about 10 days now and I'm absolutely certain that they're staying together as a couple. They may start a smaller herd for certain ladies that may prefer a quieter life but for now, they're a happy couple! Einstein is the incredibly handsome PEW, Tess is the looooooovely lilac lady! :)

Lovely pics, I never get fed up of seeing these two stunners! :)) Are they not living with the herd anymore?
 
Einstein, I've missed this little man!x)
I hope they have a very happy relationship. I'm sure it'll soon be a menage a trois though, maybe even more. I know if I had a neutered male I'd fine it hard not to keep adding.

Not anymore :(...Tess was starting to look a little iffy in the herd, I'm not sure if age is catching up with her or whether she just can't compete properly now the babies are all fully grown adults with less manners than she has! Only problem I had, and it stopped me taking her out sooner, was that her bestest best friend in the whole herd is Einstein. Even when I separated her off with some ladies just to make sure she was getting enough food he'd sleep next to her with the divide between them! They'd almost always be in the same box/bin/pigloo together too! So when it got really cold the other week I made the decision to bring her in and to make sure she was happy, he came too.

The herd are fine with the arrangement at the moment though I think I'd like to 'replace' (that sounds horrible but I can't think of a better word) Einstein at some point because having a boar worked really well for all the piggies. Einstein did a great job keeping the girls in check and now poor Munchie is having to do it!

It's worked out great for all of them but especially Tess who just looks so much happier with her man. Einstein isn't bothered either way because 90% of his time was spent snuggled up to Tess anyway! We're going to build a pen down the long side of the shed so they can move in there together with extra space just in case other ladies need a quieter life so all in all, I'm glad I made the decision! :)
 
Sometimes piggies just need soul mates... These two obviously adore each other...x)

Teehee, that's what happened when I knew I could get Einstein in the first place... tons of ladies first... then Einstein! Put it this way, I've found that I don't really need an excuse to give a home to more piggies... They're everywhere! :D
