I've tried searching for anything similiar to Tess but can't find anything.

Tess will be 4 years old this year.

Last night I noticed that when she was sitting at the water bottle it was as if she couldn't find it properly. Her head was moving from one side of the bottle to the other, quite fast, but then she managed to take a drink normally. Then this morning my sister asked me to come down and look at her. She was lying down relaxing, but she looked like her head was bumping up and down a little bit and she just looked a bit twichy. I took her out of the cage and she seems completely fine. She's eating and drinking and seems to be fine, I don't know what might be wrong with her.

Does anybody have any ideas? :(

Does she have a head tilt at all? It could be an ear infection, ear mites or possibly something neurological but I can't really say. If it's still apparent I'd get her to the vets to be checked out.

Are her ears waxy? If so is it reddish brown? I'd be sure to check her out for a ear infection or mites

Please have her seen by a vet; it can be neurological, but could also be due to ear mites or an ear infection.

She definitely isn't tilting her head.
I don't know as much about guinea pigs as I do rats, rats are quite prone to brain tumours and it reminded me slightly of that, but I couldn't find anything online... just wanted to ask here, can guinea pigs get something like a brain tumour? I think her ears are clear but I'll have a check tonight.
Thanks for the advice. :)

I would say more like inner ear infection: My GP had similar symptoms, at first I noticed that his head is moving when he was at stand still (it was like he was dizzy) and after 2 days, he had attacks of totally lost control: head was moving quickly from left to right. He is still on Baytril but I think is not working. Initially, he had 10 days of it, but after that course he started having his head tilted and slightly watery eyes, so back on antibiotic for another 14 days. As far as I can see, there is improvement, but not as much. He still twitch his ear, slight tilt, slight watery eyes... To me, Baytril is not effective any more. I'll wait for another 2 days and if this will not change (and I'm pretty sure that it will not), I'm Friday back at the vet for Septrim or something else. BTW, vet want to make sure that is nothing else going on, so he gave me Panacur as well for 28 days.

Get him to good vet, cos this will escalate very quickly and it will be far worst to treat later.
