I'm hopelessly in love with Ava. She's the friendliest thing ever and just loves interacting, but I've found that she's very much a chewer, or that everything has to be checked as to whether it can be eaten, so she likes nibbling on hands, on clothes, on anything that's near her, and I'm wondering if there's a way to discourage that? They're not hard bites, just testing, but I really don't want to have my clothes chewed, and every time she nibbles my hand, I end up jumping, and I'm afraid of scaring her. I don't think it's that she's protesting me holding her, because she'll come up and start investigating by herself and start nibbling. Like, if I'm poo picking and my knee is near the cage, she'll come up, lean out the cage and start having a nibble. She has chews in her cage, as well as a wooden tunnel and a hay cube to chew on, so I don't think it's that she's not got enough to chew on either. Her teeth have also been checked and they're fine. She's just an incredibly inquisitive little thing, very interested in what you're doing, very much wanting to get involved, but, yes, teeth.
