Finally worked out how to get my photos on Photo Bucket, so let me introduce my Texel girls, from Sprowston GP rescue last year. They were originally called Blossom, Pixie and somethinig else but seeing as they didn't seem to recognise their names I renamed them Buffy, Willow and Drusilla. Buffy has sadly passed over Rainbow Bridge now, but the other two are living happily together. Apparently their original owner was allergic to them, but because they are Texels their hair is quite dense and hard, they don't really moult at all but need lots of grooming.

Glad you like them - they're like brillo pads or a walking toupee, my sister reckons.

When I named them I didn't really think about what would happen at the vets - when they call you by the animal's name, so the vet came out and asked for Buffy and Mr Bojangles Williams!

I was v. embarrassed. Not half as much as having to book the appointment while I was at work, when they made me spell out the names - in an open plan office, much to my colleague's amusement!

I remember those Texels LOL! I was willing them to get a home, a Texel in rescue is just too tempting!
They're all gorgeous :)

Ahhh, Panda is a beautiful baby! And good name for him!

Nice that someone remembers them, when I rang to see if they still needed a home I was expecting them to have been taken already - so I went to meet them and that was that! They're very funny characters, real little madams and very bossy. Can't imagine anyone not wanting them!

I tried with the forum login but it didn't work so I registered myself- then messed it up anyway! Got the hang of it now though. Just need pics of the rest of the pigs!
