So after a rather stressful day I went to go take a nap. I was climbing into bed when I heard the scrabbling of feet...Comet actually came running over to day hello and boop my finger! And then to nibble on it, but he didn't bite, so eh, I don't mind.

I'm telling you, they know when something isn't right!

They really do! When I got pneumonia Binky wouldn't leave my side. Then when I got back after being taken by ambulance (stopped breathing!) Binky was stuck to me like glue again!
Even Errol who is much more skittish was staying close by and keeping an eye on me!
There was no rumbling, dominance, popcorning or anything. For the days when I was ill they just lay next to me and kept calm.

It's surreal the way they can read our health better than we can sometimes! Binky definitely knew I was seriously ill before I did!

That's lovely. They do know, I was really upset once when the pigs lived a bit more free range in the living room. Was in tears and next thing I know there is a paw on my foot and I looked down and my Moo was looking up at me. She is no longer with us but I have her pawprint (well splodge) tattooed on my foot.

Animals are sensitive to what their owners are going through. My friends dog knew she had cancer before she did! He just kept his nose on the particular part of her anatomy and wouldn't leave it. She reported it to her Dr who sent her for immediate treatment at the hospital. If it hadn't been for her dog, my friend wouldn't be alive today. Amazing creatures animals!

So many people won’t give animals any credit for either their intelligence or their sensitivity. Clever wee Comet! They just make our lives so much better!
