The wonderful lovely Laura sent a gift for Scamp and I and it arrived today! I brought him inside to open it with me, wrapped in a tea towel as he's usually so hard to handle. Perhaps it was the excitement of a present but he was so calm and chilled out and we had fun taking these photos to show Laura and the rest of you!

Laura also sent the most beautiful and heart warming card which I stupidly forgot to take a picture of and some strawberry leaves for Scamp which he is going to absolutely adore! Laura's gift had me filling up and Scamp must be amazed at the kindness shown by another human after what he's been through. Laura is amazing and I love this forum for putting me in touch with some of the genuinely nicest people in the world..x

Scamp cetainly looks like he is enjoying the concept of being a pampered piggy! x)

I don't know if he looks better per se, but he ooks less miserable, so he must feel better.

Love the last photo and can't wait to see his inner beauty shine through and inside out...
 
I'm not familiar with scamps story. Must have missed the thread. Anyway, Scamp is gorgeous and it just shows what TLC can do.

Aww, so kind of Laura to send him some lovely gifts. The poor wee mite has got a long way to go yet to get back to full health, hoping it is very soon.x>>

I thought at first he looked pleased because you had sent him some broccoli.
 
Thank you for these photos Tracy, it is lovely to see how he's doing and I am glad he is enjoying his treats.

I do think he is looking a little brighter, he's certainly got a way to go but he looks loved, and more secure. You can almost sense the calmness of him, whereas in his first photos right after you managed to save him he came across as a pig very nervous and unsure, and very much in need of some TLC - not just physical but emotional. He obviously has medical needs now, but something about the way he looks in these photos shows that he is being cared for and loved, and he appears more secure in himself.

Keep doing what you're doing Tracy, I am sure in a few weeks he'll look like a different pig thanks to all your dedication and effort. xx
