I thought I would like to share my experience at the vet hospital this morning when Micah was neutered.
Although I was happy that he was in excellent hands there is always that underlying anxiousness.
Knowing that I had so much support here really helped.

However when I went to collect Micah the nurse said they were happy to let him home so quickly as I clearly knew what I was doing and so he would be better at home to recover fully.
My knowledge of guinea pig care and post op care is such that they wish all piggy owners were like me.

I appreciated the compliment but pass it on because I have learned so much here on the forum.

So - thank you forum friends, the credit is yours

Wishing Micah a quick and problem-free recovery!

We are all still learning, but our mutual experiences and support do help each of us a lot.

We are all here for support when times are tough and the advise we learn from others is very valuable. When I've been to the vet they have been surprised at how much knowledge I have compared to most piggy owners they see. That is also because of this forum.
