Today this post that is no longer open for discussion helped me deal with the passing of Caramel our 8 year old GP. All my guineas have always passed away quickly. As of last night we hugged her (myself and my 14 year old) until she passed this afternoon. This post helped me understand the process. If it had been slower I would have taken her to the vets to be pts but it wasn’t necessary.

So thank you. We will miss her weep weeps but are happy that we rescued her and her sister aged two l, and her last 6 years with us were happy.
