I sadly had to say goodbye to Beatrice on Thursday as at almost eight years old she decided it was time to go. She lived a long, happy and healthy life and I have absolutely no doubt that this is due to the information I found on this forum.
From information about the bladder diet she needed and filtering water to advice about numerous hay pokes, thanks to her obsession with making hay nests. From syringe feeding to successful bonding with new friends.
The knowledge I gained on here also gave me the confidence to challenge some very odd advice from vets that I encountered over the years, and to argue our case over prescribed medication doses, particularly metacam.
So from me and my Queen Bea, deepest thanks to you all. This forum really did enable her to have a wonderful, wonderful life. 20241026_103646.webp

I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful little lady. You gave her the most amazing life, love and loss are two sides of one coin and sadly we never experience one without the other. But the loss is always worth it because of the love.
Please be kind to yourself in the coming days
Sleep well little one
