I just have to write a post expressing my appreciation for this forum which I've been a member of for almost a month now. I'm so happy to have a place to learn about and discuss my pets without having to sift through heaps of threads on breeding and showing.

I also love the tone in this forum. Everyone is helpful and friendly and concerns are expressed in a nice way. In some other forums when someone posts a picture of a home built cage or a guinea, it's not uncommon for other members to quickly dismiss the cage as "too small" or "unsafe" or deem the piggies claws "too long". Here I feel members are more supportive and careful in their advice to eachother, recognizing that we are all just trying to do our best for our pets. You have definitely made an addict out of me and I will be donating towards the upkeep of this forum as soon as I can get myself a paypal account (Sweden has not used cheques in 20 years...)

So a big THANK YOU :)from me and my three darlings! We are learning so much!

I'd just like too add to that too! I'm heavily addicted and don't know how I'd ever get though work without the forum and the wonderful advice everybody provides!

xx>>>

I have made super friends on here, some 'virtual', some 'real', but all friendly and helpful be it regarding my pigs, my cage, my son or just soup....:)):)):))

I couldn't agree more, the people on here are wonderful. Just reading through the threads you can tell people are seriously in love with their piggers and will do anything to help someone/pig in need!

Yep - me t:):)! You cannot wipe the smile off my face since I got Winks and Pablo from Becklen. I was worried that enthusiasm for all things guinea pig had died with the passing of ol' Peter Gurney but it is very much alive and wheeking on here!

Does keep me off my work mind you! ;)

Lol I agree if only my boss knew ")

I definantely agree, when i first joined here earlier in th year i officially had one piggy and was babysitting two others, now i have 13 so the addiction definantely set it,the support and friends i have made through here is amazing xx

I am glad you have found the forum so useful and friendly, skrikopanik. I do think guinea pig forums are among the most valuable educational and support tools. This is undoubtedly the best forum I've known in my four years of forum posting!

What a lovely tribute. The forum is certainly a wonderful place to educate yourself on the welfare of piggies. I only discovered the forum in February and I have learned so much since then. So many lovely people who are there to support in good times and bad. It is so easy to become a forum addict but its my one guilty pleasure that I wouldnt be without!

The forum really is an invaluable source of support. Thank you to everyone (too numerous to mention) who has helped me over many months. xxxxx

Here here!

I have been a member of a couple of others but not been back as they aren't all as friendly or supporting. Even when something isn't being done right the way it's expressed on here is as if the intention were right and that makes a big difference as 99% of peoples intentions are to do their best.

Thank you very very much to everyone on here for kind words and really useful advice. I too am hooked!
