Hi everyone. Many thanks for your kind words and thoughts.

This weekend for me, Karen and our girls. HORRIBLE. The saying that everything that is good comes to an end is certainly true today. George had a wonderful life as should every animal. We did our best to give him and our remaining GP Rosy a warm, happy and comfortable time. Rosy is also a good age 8 next Easter, where does the time go? Already though Karen is in the kitchen but there is no face at the front of the cage nibbling at the mesh, that was his way of saying oooo someone in the kitchen wonder If I can get some food out of them.

If there is one good thing that has come out of this, that is, yesterday when we needed help I found this site.

Once again many thanks and look forward to sharing GP chat and pictures in the future. Kris.
 
I am so sorry for what you are going through. i can see how much you love George. He will have a place in your heart forever.
 
Aw, this bought tears to my eyes. I saw your thread about George earlier, so very very sad and feel for you and your family :(
The members on here understand your grief, I've lost count of how many posts I've sobbed at but also the ones I've laughed at so much as well.
Give Rosy a cuddle from us, she must be a bit confused to have lost her buddy too :0
Just want to add that to have two piggies living to that age is commendable - :) That is wonderful so they obviously have been in excellent care :)

i envy you so much having piggies living to that age, none of mine have got past 3 1/2! You NEED to share your tips with us!

So so sorry for your loss, you all must miss him terribly and he has left a huge hole in your hearts and your lives. You must be wonderful guinea slaves and must love them very much as 8 is quite frankly a stunning age.

RIP beautiful one and enjoy looking down on us all from guinea heaven.
