I just choked trying to take a drink. Proper good one, too - struggling to breathe, nonstop coughing, watering eyes, the works.

Stopped coughing, finally, to realise Comet was making angry disapproving noises at me. Yes, bucko, I'm sorry my near choking to death annoyed you, I promise not to do it again!

Earlier on he decided to get himself stuck behind a carrot cottage in the corner of the cage. He moved the carrot cottage into the corner at an angle and then went underneath it out the back. Maybe that was my punishment for saying he got himself into that mess and he could get himself out of it :))

@Lorcan did you not realise when you got piggies you have to totally change your behavior.

NO
Coughing, sneezing, scratching, key jangling, entertaining friends, dropping anything, playing music, watching television or lie ins.
You are now a total slave to the most delightful creatures on the planet.:))

Hope you are okay.

That's so true I tried to lie in this morning but my piggies were squeaking for more food/hay and their water change! Naughty piggies!

That awful moment when it's lap time and you have to sneeze, it feels like your commiting an aweful crime (which you are in pig world!)

And then they sit in the corner of the sofa staring at you like" how could you do that to me?"

And you coax them back slowly, repeatedly apologising, then as soon as they decide to forgive and forget...

Oops. Sneezed again.

Those coughing fits are horrendous when you can't get your breath! I think I pulled a muscle last time it happened to me!

It's always my iphone the piggies find most offensive. I get rumbled at and the stink eye whenever it makes a noise or they see it come out for a photo opportunity.

You're right about the sneezing and the key jangling
Neither of mine like either
So when I going to the safe I get round that by both of them
Rumbled
I only do everything for them you think I should could show some gratitude
I'm just there for the inconvenience
Lol

Aww fancy coughing &annoying them like that!
Hope u got your breath back now? :)

I had to laugh at my lot the other day- I'd just given my 3 some food/carrot tops &was just stood watching them with the carrot top conveyer belt disappearing out of sight between those cute little piggy lips.

Then I sneezed...

Orca &Dopple the two slightly younger ones disappeared into the bedroom as quick as a flash....

Grace my older lady didnt even flinch-she just sat there munching away as if nothing had happened!
But I still apologized with a cute little ear tickle for her

The other two eventually came back out &resumed breakfast lol!

Yup, thankfully Comet's ordeal only lasted a few minutes :lol!: I expect that sort of behaviour from Blitzen, not from him!

He then spent all night redecorating both the cage, and my living room. Nobody can tell me guinea pigs don't hold grudges now >.<

XDXDXD oh that is too funny!

My pigs have all hated sneezes. I have learned how to sneeze really silently, but my husband doesn't care and always gets a rumble and a disapproving look!
I've noticed that our new baby hates the piano. Right now her cage is in the same room as my daughter's keyboard. We have turned the volume down a bit, but she definitely hides and rumbles from safety in the pigloo when my daughter has to practice.
