Teenage Guinea Pig
Thought of this after reading @Squeakz rat thread and the bit about relatives (ta 
!)
A family member wants me to stay with them for a few nights over Christmas and I'd rather chew my own arm off... don't get me wrong, I love them dearly but the thought of being in close confines for daaaaays is not for me, said relative gets mightily offended if I refuse. This happens every year, and I've never had the best luck with getting my excuses in early (except one year I actually ran a 5 mile charity race on Boxing Day to avoid the whole palaver - I'm NOT doing that again though!). However, the invite has already come, and I've said I can't because of my piggies (well, I could, but don't want to; said relative doesn't know of piggie boarding etc), so just want to shout out to my pigs for being the cutest, furriest excuse a gal could have
Anyone else found their pigs a neat way of getting out of stuff?

I've said I need to leave family do's early - as I need to get home to feed the piggies 
but I said sorry I can't leave the animals on their own for too long as they'll get stressed if they are out of a feeding routine
