I can't believe how much I have learned or been reassured by the kindly regulars on this forum since we adopted our girls in mid March....
...that guinea pigs really are that shy and will take time to come round (first wheeks at breakfast last week and a cheeky nibble of spinach from my hand this weekend)...to think I was so worried in those early days! :...
....changed from wood shavings to fleece and use of litter tray very successfully on advice from forum members (i really hated shovelling the sawdust)
....reassured that, yes, they will chew their pigloos and that's ok
...i knew about hay, pellets and veg but, after using the helpful stickies on Ca/Ph ratio, their diet is better than it might have been having just read the leaflets.
Oh yes, and received many beautiful piccies of black and tan piggies drool
So just wanted to say thanks so much, I really appreciate the help.
