Thawed Veg?

I have a problem: All the veg I bought for the pigs yesterday has somehow frozen in my fridge-freezer. In fact, everything has frozen to varying degrees, even the cheese.

Now I read somewhere (possibly on here) that Guinea Pigs shouldn't have 'frozen veg'. Can anybody clarify this? Does that mean just bird's eye frozen stuff in a bag (kinda obvious), or does it include produce bought fresh, then frozen briefly and thawed out?
 
my understanding is it means any veg that has been frozen and then thawed as the structure of the veg is altered and can be dangerous to guinea pigs G I tracts, as is also the case with cooked or tinned veggies
 
I wouldn't give it to them. They're better off forgetting about the veg tonight and having extra hay.
 
I wouldn't feed if you have an alternative. Bacteria can multiply very quickly in defrosting veg; any frozen veg are best eaten cooked for that reason.

Its an awful lot of veg- looks like carrots for breakfast tomorrow...
 
Can you make up a big pot of vegetable soup for yourself and freeze it in small portions. At least it won't be wasted.
 
I was just going to suggest the same - you can change the taste by adding different ingredients when you have the soup, so it is not so boring, like a tin of tomatoes, mushrooms, beans, pasta... Or turn it into the base for a pie dish!
