I love the way my main herd hold a formal after-dinner hay meeting to eat their pile of timothy hay, its an odd little ritual they have, no pushing and shoving, all good manners and best etiquette! They do this for half an hour every evening, timothy hay eating as a herd seems to be a very serious business and I just love seeing it happen! They never do this with meadow hay... and only do it after dinner...

You are obviously bringing them up well to be polite, well behaved piggies.
Your strategy for achieving this will be much in demand for tho of us who have less polite piggies
Its funny they had exactly the same hay this morning in the playpen and chased each other through it, stole each others broccolli, squabbled over the carrot slices, tipped each other out of boxes... but 7pm timothy in the hayroom is always a very formal occasion!

Mine are always stealing broccoli, it’s the cutest :D

Every day I risk catching pneumonia by going out in the wet to get grass for my 3, I heap it in a line so there's room for everypig to get a nose in - but likely as not, one pig at least parks itself slap bang on top of the pile, so the others can't all get to it, and it gets spread around and soiled. Why do I bother?
