It will be painful and burying them is the final goodbye 😞 But you have your other two girls to look after and they need you. Just keep remembering that Mrs Dougal was an amazing age and enjoyed everyday she was here. More (((hugs))) x
 
So sorry to hear this, I always enjoyed hearing about her, what a special pig and what a great time and wonderful bond you had together. You gave her an amazing, safe, loving and enriched life. What more could she possibly ask for. Sorry that it came to an end because that always hurts so much, but I’m glad that it was at least peaceful. Take care as you grieve and be proud of all you have done.

I always think the first full day without them is the hardest because you have to do everything without them for the first time. My heart goes out to you 🧡

Massive thank you. I keep getting sad as so loved her.
Was only piggie I’ve lost tho old age and yep it hurts.

You have to grieve as much as you love - and you have loved a real lot with Mrs Dougal.

But beyond the pain you are left with is the richness that your mutual love has brought into both your lives and that can never be taken from you because it is an integral part of who you are as a person. And there are still all the precious memories that you can revisit in future years and take strength from whenever you feel down once the pain of her loss is no long overshadowing everything.

Allow your grief to run its due course, give yourself the space and the freedom to feel and express your emotions, speak or email with the various Blue Cross if you need to and eventually you will come out on the other side. Try to find comfort that you have had much longer to enjoy Mrs Dougall's antics than you will be grieving acutely for her loss. You just can't hurry on the process, especially not its rawest stages.

Hello lovely people
I know most or all been through a loss of a loved piggie whatever reasons they gain rainbow 🌈 wings.
It’s been hard and my routine has been messed up as Mrs Dougal and I had time together especially last 3 months when was my turn to care for her. IMG_8492.webp
Miss her finding treats and fussy over certain foods and had a difficult time shopping when I automatically collect her favourite foods

They hardly venture pass onto the new area but I’m guessing they comfortable in what used to but I see tho poops they have investigated
I want to thank you all for the comments and love I/we received and I miss her as you you’re loved piggies but we will do it all again and I’m getting chin rubs off Mavis she’s and Moo keeping me going

I really hope you can take some comfort from all the lovely memories you have and your beautiful photos. You gave Mrs Dougal a life full of love, treats, safety and comfort and you couldn't have done better for her. Remember all of those things when you've feeling so bad, she was a lucky lady to have you as her Dad. 🧡
