Nigel is my little soldier, we are trying to find a balance of medication that works best for him and his heart condition so he has good days and bad but today was a good one, this is what happened when I first tried to get a pic of him, he insisted on sniffing the camera. We also have a tug of war battle with the syringe when he won't give it back to me after his meds.

Oh good it's not just Nigel then. I know he's having a good day when he does it, this morning he managed to get one out of my hand twice lol.
 
lol, bless him, Pirate often gives up, but i thnk it's because t would require him to get up and pull and that means moving (he's on treatment for joint disease in his back legs) so he just put's it in his mouth and waggles it about furiously.

What is Nigels heart condition? Pirate also has a heart murmer but as yet its nothing so bad it needs treatment.

Not sure of the exact name but his heart doesn't beat properly, kind of skips a beat. He was so lethargic and losing weight rapidly. He is on a heart med and diuretic at the moment and has been so much better since starting the heart meds. We have been working with a really good vet and rodentologist and my local vet is helping too. Just need to start piling the weight on now, he's only about 730g.
 
Oh bless him that is light, i know an irregular beat is called arrhythmia in people. Hope that his new meds will make him feel better and he can start paking that weight back on. I have to say although he looks small he certainly doesnt look underweight in thise pictures.

Awwwwww Nigel and Buzz havent seen pigtures of them two in a while, they look so happy and healthy, such handsome boys x)
