Guinea pigs... better than codeine! I've just got back from hospital after a bit of surgery, feeling like utter rubbish, to be greated by a very cuddly Fred and George, who climbed over each other in their desperation to get to me and are now stretched out fast asleep across my chest, after giving my face a thorough licking (and trying to eat the tissue currently rammed up my nose). I can honestly say I feel ten times better than I did before cuddle time. Hooray for the healing power of piggies!
On the other hand, none of the others seemed to notice that anything was wrong... maybe they're holding a grudge after I woke them all up at 5am this morning!
