The Best Wake Up In The World....

I have just had the best post-night shift wake up ever! MrS was under instruction to bring me coffee at 12:00. So just after 12:00 he woke me up with a cup of coffee, a slice of toast with chocolate spread, 2 bits of carrot and a piggle!

I normally feel grotty after night shift but MrS certainly knew how to make me smile today. Not entirely sure how Barney felt about being put on top of my dressing gown on the bed - new territory but he was a very good boy and didn't try to escape.

I used to bring the boys up with daddypig's brekkie every weekend when he was ill last year! They really enjoyed it but I don't think the bad sheets did though!

My hubby draws the line at piggies in bed with me but let me lie in till two and when I got up my kids had cleaned litter trays, swept poops, replenished water and gave them veg.Can just cabbage now.

Haha. When I was in my darkest times with ny recent mental health issues hubby let me have pigs in bed and often would say why dont you go to bed with a pig. I kept them in a big dog bed type thing though to save the sheets

Love it! Sometimes if I'm sat on the sofa and I feel sad I just look at MrS and say 'get me a pig', he kindly obliges and the world seems like a better place.

I was under instructions this morning that Barney was not allowed to leave the dressing gown that I spread over the top of me so the sheets are still ok.
