The Big Piggy Room Clean!

With 18 adopted piggies, 7 permanent fosters and 3 temporary guests (28 piggies in all), deep cleaning the piggy room is in the region of a major operation. Due my hub's ongoing illness, we had to postpone the job for quite a while now, but thankfully a family friend helped me move out the table cages on Saturday.

Everywhere downstairs ended up full of piggies and their stuff...

It has taken me the best part of two days to thoroughly clean the whole piggy room, re-juggle the whole set-up, throw in a (failed) bonding and then tidy up the mess in the rest of the house. I am still in the process of working my way through a mountain of piggy washing, but at least the piggy room is tidy and sorted again for another year!

Here is a little video of Carwyn, not-so-little Heini and Briallen enjoying their first outing onto the rearranged roaming ground and saying hello to new neighbours husboar Hywel and Iola.
 
Wow! That certainly is a major undertaking, but it's a superb room and I love the roaming ground :)
They all have lovely homes. I hope your hubby's illness improves x
 
What a superb set up your 28 piggies have. I hope they try to keep it looking as lovely as it does at the moment. Good wishes to your husband x

I promise I will never complain about cleaning my lot out again :no:

They are all just beautiful but seeing so many of them together all of a sudden makes me want to sing "here's a piggy, there's a piggy, everywhere a piggy, piggy or two" :lol!:
 
I love the free ranging area! Sorry to hear that your husband is still so unwell. I hope things improve for you both soon.
 
wow, that's a big task and alot of piggies! i look like i've run a marathon after cleaning our cage (yuk!) - i won't complain in future :))

It is not for the faint-hearted... :yikes:

Thanks to everybody for your well wishes. Even after several weeks, we are unfortunately still waiting for more tests and a diagnosis. :(
 
Wow, what a task..... I dread our clean lol
 
Wow! I just spent 2 hours organising the garage space and it doesn't look half as good as that!
