Piglet was the nickname I used for Rodney.

I love the name tuppence...and adding it to my list :))

My rex is called Piglet, I called her Piglet because when I got the pair she was the fatter of the two... Miffy has now taken over as numero uno podge, so the name is slightly wasted at present. My nicknames for them are skinny beav and big beav, because they look like beavers due to their colouring and the only way to tell them apart is weight.

Tuppence died many years ago, she was a dutch and had absolutely lovely facial markings.

This makes me want to go through my old photobucket and find lots of ancient piggy pictures. I'm sure I have loads!

snowball22.jpg

This is Snowball.

snowball2.jpg

Snowball and Holly.

baby11.jpg

Mia and Pickle. Mia's cagemate Lucie was already pregnant when I got her, I did not know until I found Pickle had been born.

lucie1.jpg

Lucie and a young-ish Pickle.

babyguinea1.jpg

Peanut, got from a rescue as a baby. I still have him, he is very old now but still very energetic.

button1.jpg

Button - I missed her off my list, but she was unusual!

socks1.jpg

Socks. Most unintelligent guinea pig I have ever come to know. She was hilarious! I think Rowan is in the background, I can't find a picture of her but she was amazing in every way. I remember taking one of her eating from a spoon, she was full of character like that.

tuppence-1.jpg

Socks and Tuppence.

I wish I could find more, but unfortunately I think I had a lot of my piggies in the days where owning a digital camera really wasn't considered the norm.

I like Basil's name best; I confess I'm not very inspired with Pig Naming. Other names I considered for Basil: Dill, Sage, Dandelion (there was a herb/flowe theme)

Name for a pair: Victoria (think black pig with White coronet) and Albert. Not an option for me, as I have a sister of the same name.

Girl trio: The three graces: Aglaea (Aggie), Euphrosyne (Euphie) and Thalia
The fates: Atropos, Clotho, LachReid

Big herd: Zeus plus his many consorts

Have I mentioned that I like themes?!

When I was a child I had Phyllis (it was really "fill-us up again", Long John Silver and Hair. Don't ask my why - I can't remember back that far.

Past guineas - Felix, Bruce, Fudge, Patch (boars)
