Hiya so after the neuter of my boar he got an infection he was given critical care and had two injections he then had a tiny bit of ointment and two laser treatments can anyone guess what the bill will be I just would like not to be surprised

You can call the vet and ask a receptionist, what country are you in?

It can vary massively depending on your vet practice. Like said above, if you give them a call they can give you an estimate. They should really have given you a rough guide from the start :)
 
Bast thing is to call the vet and ask - it will all be on your file, and it will vary wildly depending on the vet and where you are located.
For example I use 2 vets, and whilst they both charge a simialr amount for a first consultation, one drops to less than half for second and follow up consultations, and one stays at the same price no matter how many times you need to return for follow up.
 
That's great, our vet does free post-op care too, not all vets will do that! We had 6 free post-op appointments after Tallulah had her abscess surgery, we were billed for the medicines to take home but not for any consultations or treatment at the surgery as post-op vet care or any of the check-ups and wound cleans, so the whole thing cost us about £160 when it could have cost about £400 or £500 at some vets.

That’s a great price for all those appointments. Ted’s ear cost, first consultant £29, second consult £29, biopsy £80, drain cyst £56, no appointment was free, but ear seems fine now so it’s worth it x
 
And today we had toenail trims and a quick health check from the nurse at £9.50 per piggy... which is very cheap unless its 6 piggies going in the same week! They will clean Theo's boy bits in the same session though at no extra cost, and check fur and ears and eyes and feet, we take them all every 3 months :)
