The Bonding Continues...

We've still got a fair bit of lunging but I'm ignoring it. It makes me jump out of my skin though so no more Stranger Things :))

How long should this go on for? XD

It seems a bit calmer so I really hope they sorted what ever it was they needed to over night! I shall give them a look over later to check for injury but they look fine, I don't wanna disturb the peace just yet!

That's good news, its always good to find that they haven't killed each other over night.

Haha I know right? I wasn't sure whether I'd still have 5 pigs to come down too but luckily they seem okay :))

No meal for Tilly!

Well that is good news! Hopefully Iggy will soon be a fully integrated member of your herd!

Thanks, I hope so! He's been trouble the second I laid eyes on him, it's about time he did something good for me! :))
Tell Iggy you want no more trouble from him and be quite firm about it!

Tom was Lucifer's Child from 18 months to nearly 5 and he started to turn into Lucifer's teenager. I had words, he was fine after that and has been a lovely teenager ever since! Let's see if it works with Iggy! Call him by his full name and he'll know you REALLY mean it then!

Haha I actually do that with the pigs! :)) "Ignotus and Andromeda BEHAVE! Nymphadora I'm watching you!"

I keep threatening slapped bottoms too but they know I'm a weak touch :))

Slapped bottoms is a no no now! Have you tried the Naughty Step instead? Although I understand that is not PC now either according to @David Pet Lover and @Hoppity.K so they'll have to have "thinking time"!

Haha they would find that too much fun! :))

I think the slapped bottoms has persuaded them to be good, there is relative calm now so finger crossed! :D

Just a quick update, they're still living together with the odd scrap but they seem to be doing alright.

Poor Iggy has quite a few scabs on his bottom though bless him, I'm keeping an eye on them. His weight is stable but not increasing, but I guess it's a good sign as they're not stopping him from eating at all.

Fingers crossed that it's all figured out now!

Where has the time gone! I'm glad it is going OK. I hope Iggys butt heals soon

I know right! I looked at how long it had been earlier and couldn't believe it. Iggy will be a year old in a months time too... Time is running away from me!

Thanks so do I! Poor little mite. I guess he's gotta learn the hard way that you cannot sniff a ladies privates and get away with it in this day and age! :))

5 weeks today since Bracken and Rusty were bonded. OH and I both commented a few minutes ago that they seem to be more relaxed around each other and sitting in the same parts of the cage at the same time. We've never had rumble strutting or fights as such they just didn't spend time together unless eating. It does take time to settle and get to know each other, hopefully yours will settle some more and poor Iggy's bum will get a chance to heal!

Tell him Jet sympathises - it was only a little sniff and Jet now sports the bald patch from it!

Oh no haha these girls are tough right? :))

:lol!: I'm sure Iggy will grow up into a classy English gentleboar, no doubt his wives will train him well.

One sincerely hopes so! He needs to learn some manners for sure :D

Glad they got on so well! I'm not sure if I'd call my lot "relaxed" but not killing each other works for me! :))
