Sorry for the really bad photos, I will get better ones once they decide to come out from their stool - and I will point out that although they are hiding a little but underneath the stool they are also to tired to explore their new home :)) and have decided to sleep her for a bit first.

Now all you have to do is guess who they are :))

I have changed their names, after a long think they are now called Lupin and Tyrian

I can see a prefectly cute fabric hidey in the back of the 2nd photo, yet they've chosen to squeeze the both of themselves under that stool!

I'm sure once they get used to their new home - and it sure looks lovely - they'll come out long enough for us to see more than just a bum!

I don't know who's who but I see a very cute piggy face in the 2nd photo.

They are of course a bit wary but they are being more lazy than scared as I went in and picked both up (one after the other) with ease to bring in the front room to show the OH (who thinks they are lovely), they just enjoyed the cuddle and not at all phased, but its been a bit of a trip so that was why I have left them to find their bearings - just wanted to point out these two are very special personality wise having spent a while cuddling them before bringing them home, both snuggled right up to me and dozed off several times.

That's so lovely that they already enjoy cuddling with you! My first boy took to cuddling right away but his cagemate took months to come around.

WARNING, cute pics and piggie lips

lupin just sat there with a mouthful not moving so I put the stools back in to see if that would get him eating again - it didnt, he had a fuss and chin scritch (with mouthfull), closed his eyes and still sat there :))

tyrian did move, he also had a fuss with closed eyes and went back to eating afterwards including moving to the other stool for more grass, then back to his brother

at least he is trying it for size, enough room (just) for 2 in there, but he is taking the whole of it up :))

I know who these two are! So glad you got them!

I was thinking yesterday did you get them! Aww!

Absolutley such delicious and delightful piggies to be found in rescue, cant believe I started last year with the three girls and every intention to find a rescue boy to go with them, to having the honour of not only knowing and loving my beloved flashman, to then being slave to three of the 285 pigs. I now have 6 pigs, a mini herd of 4 and my pair of boys.

I just couldnt not have a boar pair, with all their nonsense bad press and misinformation. And not only that, 2 pink eyes with it, another silly reason why people over look pigs.

To get your very own delightful piggie, all you have to do is find a great rescue and wait, or do as I did, fall in love :))

Heehee - I've been bursting to let the forum know that PD was adopting these two!

PD may have fallen for these boys, but it's quite obvious the feeling is mutual as they snuggled with her for a couple of hours happy to poo and pee, sleep and munch. They had decided that she was their life long slave within moments of meeting her. x)x)x)

Very jealous indeed! Great that those two stunners of Suzy's have found such a wonderful home!

Using their new names (as its a new start for them, and I did like their names but lupin just suited lupin best)

lupin is lilac with a few ginger flashes pink eyed, and tyrian is ginger and white with pink eyes. Both are really solid boys, but tyrian is slightly less heavy and more curious, lupin is still getting used to having a big space and open plan accommodation to negotiate which is very true to his namesake character, reserved and sensible.

I suspect both will when more confident with their new living space will be as cheeky as I think they are.

Great to see them out from under that stool. I would never have guessed what gorgeous beautiful hair boys they are!

They are real snuggle monsters! Have you enjoyed any laptime yet? What did the OH think? :))

I have just had a few minutes with them, didnt want to have them out for overly long as both them and pepper have to get used to the new routine. I put a small tarp down, towel then vetbed on the seat next to me on peppers sofa, then some c&c grids round the exposed cushion just incase pepper forgets herself and brought them in. 20 mins tonight, think that was long enough, mostly for pepper as she did become very interested, and started worrying near the time I decided she had enough excitement.

They were a bit overwhelmed to begin with so I took the opportunity to clip a little bit off lupins bum which we will work on every lap time so he gets more settled about me trimming round his necessaries (ok it was the longest bits of hair today, but working towards him lying still while I trim), tyrian was exploring the sofa, no sunggles up to me tonight but its just all so new to them.

Tyrian did settle down to some grooming of lupin for a few minutes, lupin then went from cautious squatting, to lounging with some chookin leg action, but it was too dark to get decent photos. Both back in their home, tyrian proceeded to munch on some herbs, lupin went back to bed but they were chatting to each other which they were not doing yesterday so they are getting used to me.

Awww lovely to see a happy ending, think I noticed them too on the GGPR blog and was amazed such gorgeous boys could be in rescue.

Yay :)

forgot to say, OH thinks lupin should be called gandalf rolleyes but then as the herds names he calls them are whitey, blacky, browny and whitey and now greybeard (not sure why silver is greybeard as his face is brown).

But despite the silly names he will forever now call them - that means he likes them really, he was impressed with how quite and sweet they were, especially when tyrian washed lupins face.

I am so behind!

The boys are so lucky and you too, I didnt realise you were rehoming them, just caught up when I saw the photos on Glynneath Guinea Pig Rescue facebook page

Brilliant, stunning pigtures

x)

x)x)x) hello boys! I also was lucky enough to know they were coming home with PD ;) :)) just give me a shout if you want to chat about grooming!

They are very much getting used to their new home/pen and are making quite a mess :)) but with two long days in a row (second today) it has fallen to the OH to put in some veg in the afternooon which he had the choice to leave till I came home (so he doesnt think I expect him to "do" the pigs), he happily feeds the herd and he fed the boys and I suspect he was talking to "gandlaf and randalf" - his names for them rolleyes as I found him doing with the herd last year :)) He likes them but doesnt want to admit he does.
