So today daddy told mummy that whee stink. Whee didn't know what that meant. Mummy locked us in our dirty run and cleaned our hutch out making it all nice and shiny. She then cleaned all of our hideys as well and put fresh puppy pads and hay in them. Whee didn't like being locked in the run - it isn't normal, but she did distract us with some readigrass, whee like readigrass! It started to get real hot, they had talked about turning the heating up so whee didn't get cold. I don't know why they thought whee would get cold because whee was nice and warm.

And then it happened......daddy put his fleece coat on - whenever he does that it means whee are about to be picked up, whee don't like that! Whee tried to hide but it was no good. Mummy caught me and daddy caught Toby and they took us up to the upper level of their hutch. They have this shiny white compartment with this big tub thing in it, I think it's called a baff. They put us in this baff. IT HAD WATER IN THE BOTTOM! I THOUGHT WHEE WAS GONNA DIE but then my feet touched the bottom and I realised the water just came up to my ankles.

Daddy just stood and watched helplessly while mummy poured more water on our bodies, it took lots of water cos whee is quite big. She then rubbed some stuff on us and it went all bubbly. Look at us - whee is not impressed!

but she wouldn't let me out so I said 'if you do this to me again I'm gonna bite your face off!'

Mummy said whee was very good boys and now whee smell of 'Just for Boars', whee don't know what that is but whee really hope it doesn't happen again!

Oh guys, you have made me laugh. You look fabulous after your bath.

Poor babies! Flora says she has every sympathy, as the last time she had a nasty baff, she launched herself up in the air and tried to jump out, which made her and her mummy very stressed out indeed!

I love the "Daddy just stood and watched helplessly" bit - it sounds like the situation in our house!

Abi, they're lovely. They always have that "badly done to" look when they've had a bath. I'll be doing my again next week. I do one group on the first day & the other group the next day otherwise it would take too long to dry them all in one session.

@Stewybus I couldn't bring myself to terrify them even further with the hairdryer so towel dried them as much as they would allow (while eating carrot and baby corn) then posted them under David's chair (their favourite place) and put the underfloor heating on high. Therefore the process didn't take too long. Think we all coped remarkably well considering it was their first full body bath!

I've never yet managed to get away with a dry top when bathing them. I should really wear a sou'wester live the fishermen do.
