That is a lovely cut, very neat! Just about to do mine today - fingers crossed they don’t get all dramatic about it!

Oooh Betsy my hair looks a bit like yours some colour some grey. You’ve got a very good hairdresser. I see you’ve been reading an article on Greece. Is that where you’ll be styling it out in your bikini ? 😁

Never used a beard trimmer only ever used hair/pet clippers.

Well I would have been able to in 2 weeks if Boris hadn't shut down the Country :(. I know it's slowly opening again but as you know I don't want to risk it.

Oh, well it’s worked better than trying to cut it with scissors, it just too thick 🤔 A bit patchy in places but she didn’t seem to mind too much, she looks so small now like a little lamb
 
I just cut off the "Trousers". If you need to do the undercarriage area, leave the nipple area if you are worried.
 
Well inspired by beautiful Betsy and Posh, I just had a go at piggy hairdressing myself with Blodwen and Jezzy! Blodwen hated it, Jezzy rather enjoyed herself but kept trying to turn round and see what was going on! Seems like I took off lots of fur but its so thick its just thinned out and layered rather than short... I did the back and sides with clippers on a no.4 then carefully trimmed any clumpy bits around the bum and nipples with baby nail scissors, then gave them each a bum bath...
Blod is terrified but cooler and cleaner!

Maybe I should have been bolder and used a shorter cut, but this is the fur that came off Blod so she must be a bit cooler now!

I sat them on top of a small plastic storage box on the bathroom floor, piggy daddy sat holding them at the head end, me round the back doing the trimming :)

Yes poor Blod still gets very scared of things, her little pink eyes were bulging out in terror, but she was very lethargic and grumpy this morning with a smelly bum and I'm sure she was far too warm, so it had to be done! That's partly why kind and fearless Auntie Jezzy came along to my bathroom salon too, I dont think Jezzy needed a trim or a bath quite as much but she's the go-to companion for vet trips, baths, nail trims, anything the others get worried about, we get big old happy Auntie Jezzy involved to reassure the other piggies!

I was quite pleased actually that she took a spinach leaf reward then actually ran away when we put her back in the cage, rather than doing her paralysed-fear-potato floppy thing she used to do- but I am definitely not popular today!
