Today I am so happy. The 2 females of the terrible trio and mummy Eva went into the run for floor time with Edna and Eileen. All went very well. Even though Eileen, Edna and Eva had lived together before, I was worried they wouldn't be happy back together but it went brilliantly.

I started off with only a few hides and a pile of veggies and introduced Edna and Eileen to Eva who was in the run first. They didn't even bother to say hello and were just fine together so I guess the bond was still good. I then added Eden, the biggest baby. Edna who is the dominant female did a lot of butt sniffing and following and that was it. Eileen was so excited. She was popcorning and following Eden and sniffing her face. I then added Ellie and the same thing happened.

So after the veg was nearly all gone and it had been about 15 mins, I added more hides and toys and the carrot cottage.

I will keep doing this every day now and I'm ordering my correx and C&C grids next week so once the cage is built (end of next week hopefully) they can all go in together.

Well done. Hope they all get on well. The others probably accepted the babies easier cos they smelled of Mum. When are you going to separate little Emmett?

How brilliant. Just need little Emmett to be old enough for the op and to wait millions of weeks and they can be one big happy family. I really am so pleased for you and them.

Well as of today he is 150g so he's gaining weight well. I hope he can stay till the 5th of August (3 weeks old) but depends on his weight.

It's going to be awful waiting for the castration but it will be worth it. He'll have part of the C&C cage so he can still be near them all and see and smell them. Hopefully he wont be too upset. He already cries so much when he is apart from them. I was giving him cuddles today while the girls were in the run.

I bet you could sit there for hours just watching them all going about their business. Much better than TV. Such a lovely tribe of piggies
