Having tonight,as its got dark, said a farewell to my lovely Aniseed, watched her dance away on her funeral pyre,up to the stars.tomorrow her ashes will be put on the memorial garden under a young oak tree,as the flowers growen in it start to flower ,it reminds me of all my little friends that have gone on. this is my choice to say farewell. How do you say yours?

So sorry for the loss of little Aniseed. Huge hugs

We take our little ones to be cremated at a pet crem a short drive away. It is very peaceful and beautiful there. they then come back with us and at some point we are going to plant there ashes in the garden

Sounds like you gave her a great send off. We bury ours in the garden. Sadly our memorial plots are now pretty full.

So sorry for your loss.

We burry ours in our garden. We wrapped their bodies in a big towel and dig a plot in our garden (around 6ft under). Then after burrying them, we put a big stone on top of it to remind us where they are. We currently have 9 big stones now on those plots. We had to extend the area last year because we had run out of space. Wild hedgehogs decided to occupy one side of the empty plot 3 years ago and we don't want to remove them.

I'm sorry for your loss. :( Our pets are buried in the back yard and in the summer I often put out flowers for them. :(
