I have just found my Dennis in his forever sleep. He fought a nasty URI valliantly for 3 months but his little body couldn't take it any more and he stopped fighting this morning and has toddled off to The Rainbow Bridge.

Dennis was born as the result of a shop pregnancy on 5 May 2016 along with Meg and Christian. He was always the smallest of the three but that didn't stop him from being gorgeous or cheeky. As soon as he met Betsy he was in love! Betsy and Dennis were made for each other and when I had to split the herd a couple of years ago it was obvious that they would be together.

Dennis was the Founder Member and Self Appointed Chairpig of the very successful Stripey Nose Club and met lots of new friends in the Club Bar to squeak over the days happenings.

Dennis was my little Cutey Pie and I will miss his little face and the fact that I could do anything with him and he was never phased. He was such a gentle soul and he had such a gentle pigsonality too.

I will bury him later when Betsy has had a chance to understand what has happened to the love of her life. I put Velvet and her plant in the garden a few weeks ago and I'll put Dennis with his Mum. Have fun at The Rainbow Bridge my little boy and say hello to Velvet for me.

I’m so sorry for your loss. He was such a lovely boy. He has the best time with you and his love for Betsy was the icing on the cake.

Oh Jackie, I am so sorry for you, it’s been a long battle for you both. Sending hugs, it’s such a shame Dennis didn’t manage to recover.

I am so sorry to hear this. Dennis had such a happy life with you.
I'm sure Velvet will be waiting at the other side of The Bridge for him, along with Spike (former club member) who lost his battle this time last year. The stripey nose club will continue at the bridge I'm sure.

So so sorry for you and for Betsy.
Dennis was such a brave piggy and a little fighter. No one could have done more for him or shown him more love.
I'm sure he is reunited with his mum Velvet.

I'm so very sorry. Denis sounded like such a special pig and I loved reading about everything he got up to. I really thought he was going to make a recovery from this illness, with all your amazing care and dedication. What a happy life he has led with you. 🌈

So sorry for your loss. He was a lovely boy.

He will be the founding member of the rainbow Bridge stripey nose club, to care for those that have crossed the rainbow bridge. 🌈
