The flies have returned.

So I was cleaning my pigs out today, few days overdone (if that makes sense) and the tiny pin head flies have come back... I went crazy and removed my pigs from the room, sprayed the place, washed the cages vigiously and sqeeshed anything I saw... I still see the odd one flying around... checked the pigs bottoms just incase but no problems.

I hate them so much, more than the 20 normal flies that infest my home in the summer... ( fly strips are being put up tomorrow!

I've used a special fly repellent spray that I got in the pet section in the range (i think johnsons make it..) and you spray it on the cage leave it to dry outside and then it's safe to use again... So far no more flies!

You only apply it like once every 3 months I think...

Its good!

I have a insect curtain for the shed that the piggie's are in, flies still come through the vents in the shed tho but not as much.

I've been using beaphar fly free from Wilkes, not seen a single fly since!

We use an electric fly zapper that we have for the caravan awning.
