So for reasons only Freddie will ever understand he just became unexplainably and unpredictably VERY ANGRY with a piece of hay.

I'm not sure what this piece of hay had done to deserve being picked up repeatedly and angrily thrown back down or thrashed against the side of the cage but the attack was vicious and remorseless.

I had to retreat to the other room and laugh while spying on this spectacle from around the door frame (someone doesn't respond well to being laughed AT - and I didn't want to be next on the 'hit list').

What silly things do your piggies do?

When I put down a fresh pile of hay George (who we affectionately refer to as Fatty because of his size) starts wheeking his head off and stomps through the hay twice, and plants his fat bum right in the center of the pile, and then gets grumpy if Podge tries to eat some! :mal:

Tee hee brilliant.

I call Freddie fatty too for the same reasons.

He's never been able to wheek tho - just whistles air through his front teeth... which of course I don't laugh at!

That is so hilarious! My little Ripley kind of has an "oh effing yeah I got these veggies" standpoint when I give the girls their vegetables. She gets so excited about it, she'll grab a piece of pepper or tomato, and throw it across the cage with a hard head whip so she can come back and chow it down later lol. And little Winnie could have been in the karate kid movies as she's got a vicious karate kick! She not only does it when her sister annoys her, she also does it when she popcorns.

You'll be getting a call from Spielberg! I can just picture her flying through the air (and saving the universe)

X

Alfie gets cross at things too, when I put him in a fresh clean cage, he charges around head butting everything in sight, moving it all as if I've positioned everything all wrong! Joey doesn't bother at all lol

That reminds me of the scene in Parenthood where the little kid is running into things with a colander on his head.

It's so funny how they all their little things in the 'right' place x

A guinea pig I had a few years back, Louie, drank water so aggressively from her bottle that she ended up pulling the nozzle clean off the end...
And Oreo was so excited clambering up the side of the cage once that she went too far and managed to tip over backwards :P

Oh my, all these stories are hilarious.

My favourite memories are Matthew who got so angry after some eye drops he threw his green bean across the sofa.
Another whenever he eats food and he gets annoyed at it he gives it the angriest glares - I have photos of this. :))

Ryou is my little bulldozer and if anything is in his way he continues shoving it with his body and head until it forcibly moves out the way, like my foot, bags, toys, items, hay, other guinea pigs. Anything. :)) Also if I tell him off for being naughty he walks off chuttering at me unhappily. He knows hes being naughty.

Post the photos PLEASE!

Freddie does this thing when he doesn't want to be moved where he goes really rigid... the funniest part of this is the realisation he really believes deep down he is stronger than me.

Don't get me started on the drama that ensues every time I take him out of the run and he lays on his side violently kicking my hand.

LOL oh bless him. He seems to have a lot of character. :))

Is Matthew the black piggy on the left in this image? There is a definite glare of contempt! X

Is Matthew no longer with us?

"Character"... that's definitely one way of describing Freddie's little personality ;-)

No Matthew is the ginger and white piggie. The one giving the angry scowl with the veg in his mouth. :)

Romano is the black piggie. Both are still with me.

Ooh sorry... slightly misread your original post! They are both incredibly cute x

Ooo Matthew, if looks could kill! :))

Pixel is my little headcase and squirms around all over the place - on her side or back - at lap time, but Thor makes me laugh as if I give him a cuddle straight after one of the girls he starts frantically licking my arm/clothes. It must be the girlie-pig stink! :vom:

Haha some great stories, they are so pig-headed :xd:

I gave my two a new willow ball to chew yesterday, one would pick it up and run off with it (bearing in mind it's way bigger than their heads) then the other would come along to take their turn picking it up and running off! Gizmo tried repeatedly to back into his hidey with the ball in his mouth, definitely too big to fit mate

My boy Jackson would chase my feet whenever I got into the playpen with them. Once I'd stopped he would sit on them and seem pretty smug with himself!

Haha x

Hahaha that's what I call Kitty or else I call her chubba lub lol.

OMG these stories are so funny lol. Keep them coming.

All these stories are sooo cute, it's for all these reasons why piggies make such enjoyable pets [emoji4]. They're full of such personalities.

My little Taffy loves to lounge under the dripping water bottle, no matter where it's put she can found under it getting a rather slow shower. They do make you giggle, last night I caught them sniffing each other's bum an just going round in circles for aaaages, lol.

Monty loves having his chin tickled. The other day he was standing on his back legs, pressing his belly into the bars at the front of the hutch (his way of demanding attention)so I stuck my finger through to give him the required tickle, and he tilted his head so far back he toppled over. It wouldn't have been as funny, except he stayed stiff as a board and ended up flat on his back!

Aw poor Monty :)):)) Hope he forgives me for laughing at him!

I love it when they popcorn so hard they end up on their side/back. Silly piggies!

I "ah-ah"d at something Rodney did the other day and he very slowly and deliberately turned around and ate poo, all the while watching me out of the corner of his eye. And people don't believe me when I say how much personality they have!

This has reminded me that a pig I had a few years back picked up pretty much a whole apple in her mouth and ran off with it! Must have amazing neck muscles.
