The girls are home!

We went to Nutmegs today and met the girls for the first time - thanks Jane for a warm welcome!

They are even more adorable than the pictures and the pictures were x)x) at first sight.

They are now in the new cage and after freezing without moving for about 10 minutes they suddenly started to run all over the cage.

They seem to like their piggy palace, and I took a picture but I blue toothed it into the PC and now it won't seem to appear.

I am going to try again tomorrow.

We have been sat around the cage watching them and Bramble the pig formerly known as Morgan even took a piece of cucumber out of daughter number one's hand.

Their names are :

Rosie Nettle (formerly Nettle)
Bramble Appleby (formerly Morgan)
Hazel Berry (formerly Berry)
Daisy Dumpling(formerly Chloe)

We were watching them when Bramble went into the tunnel in the cage and the tunnel started jumping up and down! x)x)

We love them to bits already - thank you to all the Becklen ladies for their wonderful work and for letting us adopt these beautiful girls. We are totally smitten. :(|)

They are settling down a bit now - Bramble is still prowling about and has nearly been up and down the ramps already, she keeps having a look - Nutmeg said she was the boldest and she was right. Daisy is curled up in a cosy, and Berry and Nettle are curled up, one at each end of a long fleece lined tunnel.

Night night piggies!

Ooooo congrats on the piggly winks! Would love to see some pics when your bluetooth decides to co-operate!

Berry is in the red and white spotted cosy, and the other girls just froze ont he spot where they were put into the cage for about ten minutes and then started to run about exploring x)

Here is a picture of them all together (picture from Becky of Becklen).

Daisy and Bramble are rexes, and Rosie Nettle is an agouti I think with a couple of light orangey stripes and a bit of tuftyness on her head, and Berry is an orange, white and ticked brown shorthair. Rosie Nettle and Hazel Berry are their Sunday names.

Daisy is agouti I think (she is hiding a lot) with a big light orangey stripe down one side and a very light orange patch on her nose. She is very similar in colouring to Nettle. Bramble is a big old black rex with curlyish hair on her bum.

Great pictures, it was lovely to meet you all yesterday. I love the new names. So glad they are settling well. x

AWWW - those girls are beautiful!

I like their names as well - what a lovely population for that palace you've built! I can 't wait to see how they settle in.

If you want to have a picture appear next to your name (avatar), you can do so By going to User CP at the top left, click on it and scroll down to "edit avatar". You can upload from photobucket via "direct link" (NOT code), but you need to resize your picture to maximum 150 pixels.

Best of luck - it's so good to fully welcome you to the "club"!

They are just lovely lovely lovely. Although i think we need more pics :)) Do you think you will add a neutered boar?

We are doing some pictures now - but we haven't got any in focus yet!

We should have some more online soon.

Do you think you will add a neutered boar?

We are not sure at the moment although it seems like a good idea and a lot of members have recommend it.

Daughter number one is still lobbying for Wotsit from Becklin though!

Not much TV today - too busy watching pig TV.

Berry went to the top of the ramp to the hayloft and back down again, but they have only peered down the ramp to the bottom level so far.

Am so pleased that you've finally got pigs for your palace. They're all gorgeous and love their names. I'm sure they'll be flying round as soon as they've found their piggy feet in their new home. :(|)

Love, love, love the girls. Great names. Want more more pigtures. Could we please have pigtures of them in the palace. Thank you rolleyes:))
