A couple of months ago we put grass down at the back of the pond. With the sleepers that border the garden and the pond being high enough that they cannot climb, it makes a great area for the girls to play as it is a larger space than their enclosed run. Today was the first time they were able to go onto the new grass area, I blocked off the end with our old metal run panels put in some hideys and toys and they have loved it.
As it is an open run, they can only use it when I am there to supervise, I have a chair in the run and the girls were not fazed with me being there in fact they were climbing all over my feet and sniffing around.
