I've decided I wanted to have my fleece sewn onto the layer of Zorb below so it will all be easier to launder. I spoke with a seamstress about doing the sewing and it turned into a bigger deal that I thought, with lots of questions about what I think is going to be a relatively simple job.
So, I've decided to buy a sewing machine! I've had one before, never learned to use it, but this time there's more of an incentive. I'm thinking of it as a grand adventure!
Hopefully the pigs will soon have a closet full of nice fleece linens for their two floor residence I'm making for them.

It is fairly easy ... If it all stays together properly. Aswell as if the material all catch's. If the sewing machine wants to play nice. (I make fleece base's for fundraising aswell as my rescue)

I spent an hour yesterday downloading and looking at the user manual of the model I'm going to get. And ordered some more fleece. :))

Don't go very far, I might need your advice :)

ooh, make sure you post pictures of your creations..... hey, we should have a piggy crafts thread!

That is a terrific idea! I know that my first creations will look like beginner crafts, but it would be a real incentive to me and I'm sure to others to see a sewing machine thread where people post their handiwork and maybe even step-by-step tips and techniques to help beginners like me.

That would be really neat.

I plan to get a mini-sewing machine when I have the money, simply so I can make my boys cozies and things.

It would be really fun to see other peoples ideas and what they've done, too.

Can I ask, what is "Zorb" exactly? I don't know what it is ")

This sounds like a fun idea, though. Getting all creative for your piggies is always fun.
