The great escape...

The hamster or hamster-naught as my toddler calls her... Betty...
Escaped from her cage...
But I didn't notice she was missing and whilst sitting on the sofa reading... I could hear this noise... Like a mouse having a munch...
I panicked thinking I had a rat in the house... I could locate the noise to my under stairs storage where I keep all the animal food...
And worked out it was coming from the bin I keep the rabbit food in... Absolutely pooing my pants I push down the lid to discover Betty in there filling her face...!

What she does is push the stoppers out of her cage where the tubes should go and escapes that way...!
Clever ...!
I've now bodge taped the stoppers on so she can't push them out...!
Crafty little thing...!

Awwwww, It is their duty to escape!
 
Hahaha they are so funny.

We had one of these when Flo was younger with attachments and she managed to knaw the cap off one end and I found her running round the bathroom at 1am! Thank god I had a waking baby at that moment or she could have got under the door :... (oh she was in the bathroom as it was winter and she used to get so cold as she was small for a syrian so at night time she got kept under the water rail :)))

oh p.s. the rabbit food isnt muselie... it is burgess... the child being the wonderful being he is got hold of one of the bags of gerty i got given rolleyes and poured it in earlier that day... i havent had a chance to take it out and bin it... :))
you can also see he added barley rings in there aswell...
gotta love them'...!

how'd she manage that bread crust? ?/ must've taken her ages, dragging it along, that would've been hilarious to watch :(|)
