The Great Outdoors!

Since moving here 5 or so years ago the boys haven't been outside. Then when Anselmo started to have his breathing issues whenever he went outside I felt bad if I wanted to put the other two outside for a bit.

We've recently had a trellis put up to make the garden a bit more private and I've covered it with a plastic ivy (it looks terrible but does the job). Now I've just got the decking to clean.

But I wanted the boys to experience the great outdoors so they've been in the run for 30mins.

Jon was brave enough to explore but Podrick stayed in his box other than one dash through a tube and back to the box.

I'm so happy that they can get outside now. I have a few grass trays growing and hopefully there will be plenty more outdoors times for them

Jon found being a brave boy very exhausting and has had to have an emergency snooze.

Podrick is happy safe inside his castle again. I think he thinks eagles can get him outside. But he'll come around eventually.

to be honest being outside is very tiring, all that fresh air and new smells. It's like being on holiday....a mini break!

Aww! It's okay for the little fella to be scared of eagles. I too fear eagles. And dragons. It's so cute when piggies do something like run outside then, once inside, they turn into sleepy little loaves

@Glynis Podrick has a wonky top lip from having a fight with Jon when they were younger (you can just see it in the bottom photo). My boyfriend has a very similar scar on his lip from having a cleft palate when he was younger, so he says they're buddies!
