Sad times in the Tigermoth house. Woke up to a pair of happy pigs but on bringing in breakfast Timmy had clearly had a stroke. He passed away a little later.

He's been a cracking pig, who knew that they came with such personality? He had a rough start, found in a hoarding situation with ripped ears and a broken leg. He got to about 7 plus years, but living with us approaching 6. He landed on his paws into a life of luxury.

I'd say he will be sadly missed by his wife Jenny but she doesn't seem bothered. I'll miss his little face though.

See you Timster, save a spot for the missus at the rainbow bridge, she won't be far behind you xx

I’m so sorry for your loss. He reached a grand age with you. Just shows how spoilt and loved he was. Popcorn high at the bridge gorgeous Timmy. ❤️

I am so very sorry! Try to take consolation that while it is a bad shock for you and and your 'gruesome onesome' that Timmy himself didn't have to suffer for long and could live his long life to the fullest right up to the last.

Be gentle with yourself as you grieve your handsome boy.
 
Thank you everyone. I’m surprised just how sad me and my husband have been. My kids are very pragmatic about it (13&16! Not babies), but we’ve both cried several times, mainly looking at Jenny by herself. We need to pop him in the ground but it was dark when we got home from work so he is wrapped in a sheet ready for the morning.

He was living his best little piggy life right to his last day.
 
I’m sorry to learn you’ve lost Timmy , what a lovely life he had with you all. He really did land on his paws with you.
These lovely little creatures leave such big holes behind and it’s understandable to have tears.
Be sure he had the most wonderful life and is now running about at Rainbow bridge. Hugs to you and your husband x
 
The Rainbow Bridge has had quite a few new entrants in the last few weeks. Timmy certainly led a life of luxury with you. Sleep well little man.
