My boy's have excelled this morning, today started off like a normal morning. Last week was the first week I forgot to weigh them, they didn't appear to have lost weight so I thought no harm in waiting till next week.

First up; Milo , it's ok he's only lost 82 grams, next Fred 75 grams at least it's getting better and last but not least Patrick 60 gram weight loss. If it wasn't for the fact my girls are all the correct weights I would blame the scales, although I still feel compelled to blame them. Strange!

Daily weigh in for them tomorrow - perhaps all the boys have decided they are uniting though illness. We might all be visiting the vet. :x
 
I was weighing Pig twice daily at one point - madness.

Hope they put on a bit of weight for tomorrow (or at least not lose any more) - keep us posted.
 
Oh dear that is very strange. I hope they put the weight back on.
 
I'm hoping my scales are dodgy and everyone will be back to normal tomorrow - they don't feel lighter very weird, I pick them all up daily. The only thing I can think is it's gradual, over 2 weeks which is why I haven't picked up on it earlier. Back to weekly weighing, in there case daily!
 
I hope that you get better readings tomorrow!
 
Pesky boys! Hope weights are better tomorrow, could be the scales, ours sometimes throw a wobbly.
 
Maybe Esme barbered them so the weight loss is hair loss! :)) Bet they are trying to convince you they are wasting away so they get more noms! Hope weights are better tomorrow. xx

It's not just the boys, I weighed Moonpig and she's lost a bit more. :{ I'm delaying weighing the rest of them until this evening, the two boys will be fine but I just know Yoshi will have gained EVEN more weight. :( I don't even think he'll fit in the weighing bowl anymore! :red
Hope your boys are back to their normal weights soon. x
 
Oh noes! Lets hope it was the scales! Hope they are better tomorrow! Thanks for reminding me, i usually weigh on a tuesday! Although i normally do it before veggies and i've already fed them, ooopsie!
 
Not good -appear's all weights are correct.

Fred is down another 10 grams, thankfully I had already decided he needed the vet - as I suspect he has spurs again he's booked in Saturday.

Milo - is booked in Friday, my mum is going to take him for me and I haven't decided about Patrick yet - this week was meant to be the first week he didn't need the vet :(.

Milo gained 19 grams and Patrick 10 grams, but that could be a full bladder.

My pigs are not cool!

Dislike, Dislike and Dislike some more, it's really sad when you call the Vet and they know exactly who you are.

There's no point wallowing, just get on with it and hope we can get to the bottom of it very quickly indeed.

I am sorry that all three boys are in trouble! Hopefully, you can get to the bottom of it!
 
I know this is going to sound silly but is weight loss something to worry about with pigs. Don't they loose weight and put on weight depending upon when they have eaten/drunk if they have pooed/peed. I have not noticed any weight difference with my piggies when I pick them up and would like to know if I should be weighing them regularly and is this an early indication of potential illness?

Sorry to jump in on your post but I am intrigued ?/
