Oh they are so sweet! They will come round lovey, what cage are they in? xx

Yes, once they are settled we will expect a photo shoot :))

I only asked, as in the pic's the cage looks quite small :( I'm not now about to shout at you or anything, i know what pet shops are like and when your new to piggies and dont know its easy to follow their advice. So i just want to help you and your piggies, could you take a picture of it or measure it?

It could just be the camera angle, or even my eyes! x

Too small? :( I'll try to save up to buy a bigger cage. If I tell my mum I need a bigger cage, she's going to shout at me. :( oh great.

Sorry honey, that is far too small! Look out for second hand cages on gumtree, you can pick up some cheap ones on there, or a C&C cage is great, the best cages available and by far the cheapest. x

I'm willing to buy a C & C cage. I'll keep looking. I thought to myself, it's small and plus I need to buy more toys for the guinea pigs.

You could always get your mum to join the forum and we can persuade her :)) xx

People often sell C & C grids on here in the forsale/wanted section, so keep an eye out. I recently made one and its the best thing i ever did, all in all it cost less than £50 and is much bigger than any shop bought cages which would cost in excess of £100!

Here are some links on C&C cages, you might find these helpful, any questions just ask.

Yes, if your mum would be willing to buy that one for you while you save up for a C&C that would be good, and very girly :))

Offer the people £10 and see what they say, people never list thing for the price they want unless they state no offers, go on be cheeky! xx

Aww, lovely piggies. Definitely try to get a bigger cage, they will be much happier :)

Oh it looks like I can't get a bigger cage. I tried to tell my mum but she says apparently they have enough space. 8...8... She think she knows everything. :( She only knows about hamsters and gerbils but not guinea pigs.

It's definitely not enough space. The piggies will grow to be about the size of a young childs chest in height and they will be VERY cramped.

Definitely not trying to be mean but trying to show your mum how large they can and will get within a few months.

Heres a good size you will see guinea pigs can get to. This is my 4 year old nephew connor. The cage I had there even wasn't big enough for them and they are now in a much larger C&C

I'd definitely reccomend C&C its a very cheap alternative and you can make it any size and shape and levels you want. =)

I'm glad your mum is coming round. :) I know how it feels to battle a parent who thinks a piggy can stay in a too small cage.
