teabag

I'm so happy! After the worry of there being a problem with our guineas, we managed to go and pick them up yesterday!

They are just so utterly adorable. They're both still quite jumpy at the moment, to be expected. I had thought they wouldn't really come anywhere near us for a few weeks willingly, but I went to put out their fresh dinner last night and the boy Teabag poked his head round the snug. He could obviously smell the yummy veg! I poked a little bit of cabbage through the wire of the cage and he came over gingerly and took it off me! It was so adorable! Once we'd put the bowl in the hutch, they both came our and let us sit there and watch them close up while they chomped away!

Will post some piccies as soon as i work out how to get them off my mobile!

I'm so pleased we have them home at last....I can see there being more additions to the guinea family in the future!

:smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Like lavenderjade said - you'll find yourself watching them all the time wondering what they are doing! They are such little busy bodies! ;D

Enjoy being a piggy mum ;)

You're not wrong Piggyloon...i just sit on the grass for hours watching them! Once they get over the fact that i'm so close to them and they get on with their piggy business they're fascinating!

I love watching them nibble away! Fat little chops munching away....am i sad?!?! ::)

Do yours make little coo-ing noises to each other? They sound like pigeons! I assume they are just chatting away happily to each other?!

No as i only have 1 piggy and a rabbit and they dont speak the same language :'( but when i was at Fionas (lavenderjades) house hers were doing the pigeon noise lol

Oh right! :D I wonder if they ever try to talk? Like us chatting to a german in english and them replying in german! 98)

I wonder if piggies (or other pets) from different parts of the country have accents! ;D Like Brummie, cockney, west country.... 98) ;D :D

Yea lol just imagine a spanish piggy trying to talk to a english piggy lol HILARIOUS

;D ;D ;D
I bet they do! At least, its mega cute so i'd like to think that mine can chat away in a brummie accent!

Can you imagine a guinea with a brummie "wheak" 98) :smitten: :smitten: 98)

Lol awwwwwww

Can you imagine a piggy with no wheek :'(
Ours don't wheek at the moment :'( :'( They've wheeked once, and i was at work >:( >:(

How long will I have to wait for their wheeks? I've only had them 8 days....

and mine in a herefordian accent... oooo arrrr! ;D

Maybe the brummies wheek would be something like.... wike wike! ;D ;D ;D 98)

They'll wheek soon enough I promise you - when they get a bit more confident and know your ways... especially if they hear a bag! Mine wheek their little lungs out when the hear the cabbage 'wrapper'! All hell breaks loose but its great to hear. ;) Mine didnt do it for ages.

At lavenderjades house, we took a bag of grass over and when it was in lavenderjades pocket they climbed into her pocket to get it :smitten:

Mine goes bananas when they hear me with a bag of carrots and stuff lol

Oh no! I will forever have the brummie "wike wike" stuck in my head now!

I hope we don't have to wait too long! I'll be such a proud mum when they finally do Wheek properly! I'll have arrived! 98) :smitten: :smitten:
