Okay it's been a looong while since I have put any photos on here of my hairy babies so thought I would share a couple.

I changed the hay box in the C&C to make it bigger and give more space as there are 7 of them in the cage. Every day I empty out the old and clean it then fill it back up again, top up the hay racks etc. I keep all the guineas out while I do it and their spot clean.

Here is what it looks like just topped up

And here they are when I allow them access to this floor again

They get so excited on the floor below running about waiting for the ramp to be usable again it's just the sweetest and then as soon as it is they all run full pelt up it to get to the fresh hay. Today they haved 5 varieties of hay! I think there is something wrong with me - they definitely don't NEED 5 types!

Also a cute one of little Orson - he's so at home now with his ladies. here they are sharing a bowl of clovers and plantain

For anyone who doesn't know Orson is the little white one looking at the camera.

Before I even got to the second pigture, I was thinking how lovely he looks with them all and how settle. He really has made himself at home he is one very spoiled piggy, with all his wifes.

The second pigture is gorgeous x).....

OooooooOoooooOOOooooooo That's one lovely hay bar! My piggies will be disappointed in me for not providing a cool social hangout :(

What beautiful piggies. Orson must love posing for the camera.

I simply love your set up Lisa and all your beautiful bonded piggies. I am soooooo jealous drool :)

Thanks. :)

I'm pleased with the set up we have it's taken ages and ages to arrive at this point and it's been changed so much. It's lovely to have such a big bonded group as these as they have their own little world and it's fascinating to see what they get up to with one another. All the different moods they have and the hierarchy too. It was scary times with Orson going in - I wasn't sure it was going to work but so far (touches wood) so good.

It's really become THE place to be in the cage. The little vetbed lined snug on the middle floor was the fav place to relax before but that's not being used anywhere near as much as it was before.

Thanks. :)

I have to say I would love to bond Mango and Badger with Thistle, Willow, Africa and Maya but watching them all, I think Mango is too uptight compared to my rexes and wouldn't settle in the pecking order. It is noticable just in the fact that Thistle is an Abbyruvian and the other 3 are rexes. Sometimes I worry Thistle is a bit of an outsider. Thankfully Mango and Badger are so happy together and snuggle up, laying against each other, wereas the 4 girls prefer their own space

I look at so many of the C & C set ups on this forum and my eyes flash bright green!

I have a Teddy and she's so laid back compared to the others. Very friendly like your rexes. I thought she would be the easiest to bond with Orson but she was the worst which is weird.

I have another cage with 3 in (not a C&C) it used to just be 2 girls and I tried to bond them with the other girls before I had any males at all and it failed miserably. Terrible fights so I just left them as a pair and bonded a neutered male with them. Thankfully that worked. If you have such a lovely pairing already it would be a shame to change it.

My girls would like to know if you need id to get into the hay bar as they are planning on nipping over the bridge for a visit seeing as there is only the choice of two hay here :))

Wow, that's one very impressive hay bar.

My pigs are jealous. Scratch that, I am, I want to be a piggie in there!

You can totally tell they are enjoying their hay! On the first picture I thought wow, so many piggies and so little room for them all, but the second picture, showing a different perspective obviously, shows that they have more space.

Thats just the hay part of their cage. Here's the full cage they share

It's massive. :)

AWWW - I LOVE your piggy palace (not just the deluxe hay bar!), and I must say that I am so glad that Orson has settled in so well with all his girls! He looks so cute on your pictures!

That looks like one heaving party, lucky Orson, the only boy in a bar full of girls!

I love your hay bar!

Orson looks so happy with his wives! x)

You have some very happy and spoilt piggys! :))

wow, what a great cage! But it is without ramps?

The ramps are the black bots attached on the outside, they are external ramps to they have more floor space inside the cage. We used to have internal ramps until we moved Orson in and decided the ramps needed to be extrenal to give more space.
