The herd of five is reunited once more ......

This morning Shy Little Meg had to be helped over the Rainbow Bridge. She hadn't been right since Sunday. This morning she didn't even want her Metacam and she had stopped eating and was refusing syringe feeds.

Meg was born at home as a result of a shop pregnancy along with her brothers Dennis and Christian. Meg was a shy but feisty girl who loved life. Before I had to split the herd she could nearly always be found with her brother Dennis plotting something or with her Mum Velvet teaching her how to be a piggy. She absolutely loved a hay tray, hay pile or any hay that she could hide in. She also loved snuggle tunnels and anywhere that she would feel safe. She never liked being picked up but loved a cuddle.



Sleep well my darling Meggypops, have fun with your friends and say "Hello" to them for me. I'll miss you so very much.

Oh, this is such sad news. I am truly sorry for your loss. It seems to have been a sad week on the forum with so many piggies making their way to the rainbow bridge. So sorry you have had to say goodbye to Shy Little Meg, the last of your original herd. She will leave a definite hole in your life despite being shy and retiring, especially after overcoming her mouth problem together 2 years ago.
I expect she and the rest of the herd are now comparing notes on your slave-ship and wondering how they can impart their ghostly counsels on how to get everything they want, to Lexi and Luna.
