The journey of getting a new pig

I feel so bad for Leo when Clifford humps him. Look at the weight difference!217EE671-38B5-4715-AC16-2BE16268A1D4.webpi know you are suppose to give them a few days to settle in, but I forgot to take his weight yesterday and I want to make sure he’s eating enough while he’s adapting in. He’s very fidgety and I feared he would jump out of my hands. It’s pretty obvious he hasn’t been handled much so we gotta work with him. He’s eating pellets and hay but not any veg. Any tips on how to get him to try some veg?

He is lovely, so pleased to hear they are getting along well.
Just keep offering the veg he will soon catch on watching Clifford. He's probably not used to veg, I've got one who was only fed cabbage and carrots for the first five months of life, a few months here and he's not so picky!

Thank you! I have no idea what Leo was fed beforehand, but I don’t think he had a very good diet. His poops were a lot lighter in brown which shows to me a unhealthy diet. His poops are darkening up which is good!

Update: tension has definitely gone down. Leo had a little nap. When he woke up I could tell he definitely got more comfortable. He drank from both bottles, and ate some pellets and hay. He’s so adorable. This is definitely a new experience for me. I’ve never had a guinea pig this young. I usually adopted out seniors or pigs close to senior hood. He’s got so much energy, I can already tell. I’ve seen him try to be dominant towards Clifford. He tries to sneak up behind and try’s to mount Clifford, but Clifford usually catches him and gives him a glare and than Leo runs away as if to say “I’m sorry! I’m sorry”. It’s really cute.
Our first was 4 female four week olds! Wowee! :D
