The Keeping And Care Of Guineas

Over the coarse of the year I have been writing a Guinea Pig Bible or that's what I like calling it. Its a Big Doc with just Guinea Pig Information. I wanted to ask if anyone would like to give there opinion when I'm finished with it? It will be done in a few months and also I would like to get a bit of help writing in the Medical Section as I have no experience in that.

What do you plan to do with this @Alex Read ?

If it's for your own use/ reference, all well and good. But if you intend to distribute it or share it with anyone else then you have to be very sure that all the information you provide is accurate and well balanced. If you are including any information that is not in your own knowledge or is not your own opinion but may have been provided by members of this forum you must be sure that you have their individual agreement to use it and also that what you publish is correct.

If you do not have the relevant experience for the medical section may I respectfully suggest that only information from a qualified veterinary surgeon should be included and only from one with experience in exotics and cavies in particular. This forum does not and cannot provide medical/ veterinary advice and must not be cited as a reference in any material you intend to publish.

If you have queries of your own on health and illness matters you are welcome to post threads in the health and illness section. However you must be fully aware of the disclaimer at the top of the H & I forum.

I already answered this myself and decided that the Medical Section is not the best idea cause every vet is different and It took me awhile to think about it last night I decided that I will not put procedures or anything and I'm not publishing it's just a huge doc and I'm not trying to promote anything either. The book is just about Simple Stuff like Where to Adopt, Basic Supplies, Housing Things, Bondings and Intros it's nothing major. Just a Tiny Carebook Guide but nobody has to go by it just for fun I guess oh and this is not about my knowledge but Wide Variety of sources Rescues, Forums, Books, Videos and vets and everything will be cited also. So I guess none of this information is based on my believes but everyone's. I also have been with in touch with my cousin also who is an exotic vet in Canada anyone is welcome to check it out prior to being finished just pm me or something and we can work something out also any Admins or Moderators can check it out anytime.
